The opening reception for the Waverly St. Gallery’s Annual Collaborative Exhibition is this Friday, February 12. For the 7th consecutive year, each gallery member invites a guest artist to display their work.
My guest this year is Jun Lee, an award-winning woodcut printmaker. Over the past 12 years, Lee has exhibited across the US and internationally, including in Germany, Estonia and her native South Korea. Lee trained at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design and the Cranbrook Academy of Art, in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
Lee’s work is whimsical, intricate, and edgy. Come check it out, along with the works of other gallery members and their guests. Works on display include paintings, sculpture, prints, ceramics, fiber art, glass, mixed media, photography and jewelry.
The show runs from February 9 through March 5 and the opening reception will take place this Friday, February 12, from 6 to 9PM.
